Lydia grew up in a small village in the Austrian Alps. Climbing high mountains was soon not enough of a challenge; even the sight of Mount Everest could not satisfy her ambition for adventure. She studied Lemurs in Madagascar, the Indian culture in the desert of Rajasthan and caught wild boar for the "Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology" in Vienna.

Since joining Jango Edwards "Clown
Army of Laughter " in 2008 her greatest
challenge began: to make people laugh.

She studied contemporary circus and physical
theatre at Circomedia and graduated with a
BA in Performing Art at Bath University in 2012.

Now living in London, she is focusing
on physical theatre, grotesque clownery,
and gender performance
to entertain an international audience
